Abstract
The derivs. are of formula (I), in which R1, R2 and R3 are H, OH, halogen, NO2, NH2, 2-5C acylamino, 1-4C alkyl, CHO, CH2OH, CH2O-1-4C alkyl, COOH, CO-1-3C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, 2-4C alkenyloxy, 1-4C alkylthio, alkylsulphinyl or alkyl sulphonyl, N-substd. heterocycle, opt. substd. phenyl, phenylthio, phenyl sulphinyl, phenyl sulphonyl or phenyl-sulphonamido, or R1 and R2 together form a 3-5C alkylene bridge, one of R2 and R3 being 1-4C alkoxy or 2-4C alkenyloxy, and X is (CH2)nNR4R4, in which R4 is 1-4C alkyl, 2-4C alkenyl or opt. substd. benzyl, and n is 1, 2 or 3. They act on the central nervous system in treatment of vomiting, depression, anxiety and certain psychotic states, and are made by reacting a cpd. (II) in which Z is halogen, OH or OR and R is an active gp. with an amine X-NH2.
