Abstract

The improved grinding machine is of the type which comprises a rotor provided with beater bars which project the aggregates against impact plates, and which has shielding plates capable of protecting the inside of the machine against the projection of said aggregates, and is characterized in that it has a reversible rotor which allows fixing of the beater bar by means of two shoes which have their retention trapeziums sufficiently offset as to allow the insertion of the bar in such a manner that the channels for fastening the latter coincide with the trapeziums of the shoes. During insertion of the bar into its horizontal position, one of said shoes acts as support therefor, whilst the other is fixed by means of a retention bolt which is removed once the bar has been located in its position, at the same time as the brake of the bar is locked, in order to immobilize it laterally, it being possible for the assembly to rotate in any direction. Likewise, the grinding machine has a system for bringing the impact mechanisms closer together, which system is embodied by means of a hydraulic cylinder incorporated at the centre of the tension system which mechanically regulates the relative position of the impact mechanisms.
