Abstract
a) Mechanism for driving a reciprocating-movement pump. b) Mechanism characterised in that it comprises: - a return pulley (6) - a drive belt (5) with reciprocating movement passing over the pulley (6), and one end (4) of which is connected to the upper end of the rod (3) of the pistons, - a drive loop (10, 10') formed by a belt and two pulleys (11, 11' 12, 12') over which the loop passes, at least one of the pulleys carrying an inertia flywheel, and the second end (8) of the drive belt (5) with reciprocating movement being connected to this loop (10, 10') in order to effect a to-and-fro movement upon each rotation of the loop (10, 10'), - a rotational drive means (22) connected to one of the pulleys (11, 11', 12, 12') of the drive loop.
