Abstract

Un producto sinterizado de cerámica obtenido por sinterización de un material que comprende: a) de 98-50% en volumen de circonia como una matriz, i) estabilizada con una composición de estabilización que tiene ii) de desde 2 a 3 por ciento en moles de itria y de desde 10 a 15 por ciento en moles de ceria; en laque el término porcentaje en moles se relaciona con la matriz de circonia y b) de 2 a 50% en volumen de alúmina; en el que 5 a 90% en volumen de alúmina está en la forma de plaquetas hexagonales de fórmula general REAI11O18por reacción de partículas de alúmina globular distribuidas de manera homogénea incorporadas en la matriz decirconia con el óxido de tierras raras formador de plaquetas durante el procedimiento de sinterización y en el que REsignifica metal de tierras raras y dichas plaquetas hexagonales contienen óxido de lantano,con una resistencia mecánica de >= 800 MPa cuando se mide según DIN EN ISO 6872 y con una tenacidad a lafractura de >= 6 MPa.m1/2 cuando se mide según Din CEN/TS 14425-5 y con un módulo de elasticidad de <= 250 GPacuando se mide según DIN EN 843 Parte 2.
