Abstract
Almacenamiento de energía térmica de alta temperatura vinculado a la red eléctrica y mejora de planta solar concentrada incluyendo sistemas de almacenamiento de energía térmica (TES) vinculados a la red, sistemas de potencia solar concentrada (CSP) que presentan TES vinculados a la red y métodos de operación del mismo. Los sistemas TES vinculados a la red incluyen un material de almacenamiento de calor, un material de transferencia de calor en comunicación térmica con una fuente de flujo solar concentrado y un elemento de calentamiento eléctrico. Tanto el material de transferencia de calor como el elemento de calentamiento eléctrico están en comunicación térmica con el material de almacenamiento de calor. Tanto el material de transferencia de calor como el elemento de calentamiento eléctrico se pueden usar selectivamente para proporcionar medios alternativos y complementarios para almacenar energía térmica en el material de almacenamiento de calor.
