Abstract

Dispositivo para detectar e identificar por lo menos un primer y un segundo elementos emisores de rayos gamma, cada uno según un espectro continuo que presenta por lo menos un pico con dos flancos laterales, que comprende un detector de rayos gamma por centelleo que suministra en su salida impulsos eléctricos cuya amplitud es sensiblemente proporcional a la energía de los rayos gamma que lo alcanzan, medios selectores e integradores de impulsos conectados a dicha salida de dicho detector para recibir dichos impulsos eléctricos y que suministran sobre una primera vía de salida, una primera corriente que es función creciente del número de dichos impulsos cuya amplitud corresponde a energías de rayos gamma comprendidas en una primera banda en la cual la emisión de rayos gamma es debida principalmente a dicho primer elemento emisor, sobre una segunda vía de salida, una segunda corriente que es una función creciente del número de dichos impulsos cuya amplitud corresponde a energías derayos gamma comprendidas en una segunda banda en la cual la emisión de rayos gamma es debida principalmente a dicho segundo emisor y, sobre una tercera vía, una tercera corriente que es una función creciente del número de dichos impulsos cuya amplitud es superior sensiblemente a la amplitud del umbral superior de los impulsos parásitos suministrados por dicho detector en ausencia de rayos gamma, caracterizado por el hecho de que, por una parte, dicha primera banda comprende por lo menos un pico del espectro continuo de dicho primer elemento con sus flancos laterales situados por encima del espectro continuo de dicho segundo elemento, mientras que dicha segunda banda comprende por lo menos un pico del espectro continuo de dicho segundo elemento con sus flancos laterales situados por encima del espectro continuo de dicho primer elemento y de, que, por otra parte, tiene una unidad de tratamiento de las corrientes, conectada a dichas primera y segunda vía para recibir dichas primera ysegunda corrientes y que suministra una cuarta corriente que es una función decreciente de dicha primera corriente y una función creciente de dicha segunda corriente, y un aparato registrador que registra una al lado de otra dicha tercera y dicha cuarta corriente en el curso del tiempo, en forma de dos curvas continuas.
