Abstract

A method of moulding an article, such as a transparent lamp cover, comprising distinct elements of different colours welded together, by injection moulding a first element in a first mould station, and subsequently injection moulding the other elements in a second mould station, the first element being formed with one or more tongues for separating the molten material forming the other elements. In this way merging of the elements along their lines of contact is obviated.
