Abstract
The process comprises mixing of gold chloride and triethylphosphine in an alcohol medium at -10 to 15 degrees C, filtration, and dissolving of the complex in a mixture of alcohol and e.g. ethanol. To increase performance, the complex is then reacted at below 0 degrees C with a salt of 2(tetra-O-acetylglucopyranosyl) 2-thiopseudourea, in a suitable basic medium. - The reaction time is 30 to 180 minutes at pH 12-9 and in the presence of phase transfer catalysts.
