COMPRENDE: A) HIDROLIZAR PARCIALMENTE UNA MEZCLA DE CANTIDADES ESTEQUIOMETRICAS DE NITRILOTRIACETONITRILO Y DE UN HIDROXIDO DE METAL ALCALINO EN AGUA, A UNA TEMPERATURA DE APROXIMADAMENTE 25 A 85JC; B) HERVIR LA MEZCLA RESULTANTE DE A), 30 MINUTOS COMO MINIMO, PARA SEPARAR COMO COMPONENTE VOLATIL EL AMONIACO DESPRENDIDO DURANTE LA REACCION DE HIDROLISIS; Y C) AÑADIR 0,04% EN PESO DE LA MEZCLA, DE UN AGENTE BLANQUEANTE COMO EL PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, EN SOLUCION ACUOSA DE 30-37% DE PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, CON EL FIN DE PREPARAR UNA SAL DE NITRILOTRIACETATO DE COLOR ACEPTABLE.
