Abstract

Composition consisting of a cement (opt. with additives), water, 2-30% by wt. (with respect to water) of a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer (acrylonitrile, (meth)acrylamides, (meth)acrylic acid and their salts) and 0.02-20% by wt. of a water-soluble crosslinking monomer (derivatives of acrylamide, imidazolidone, triazine etc). with a radox system, (K or NH4 persulphate with organic reducing cpds) is hardened in the presence of a water-soluble inorganic cpd of an alkali metal (oxide, hydroxide or salt).
