Abstract

Dispositif pour déplacer une source de rayons X autour de la tête d'un patient, en vue d'obtenir sur un film l'image d'un objet de la forme de l'arcade dentaire, qui comprend un bâti fixe, un bras support mobile avec une source de rayons X et un support de film fixé par ses côtés opposés aux différents côtés de l'objet à radiographier, ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce que le centre de rotation du mouvement du bras support est déplacé rectilinéairement pendant que l'on exécute la radiographie, dans la même direction, perpendiculairement à l'axe de symétrie de l'arcade dentaire, de telle façon que la position du centre de rotation dans son mouvement linéaire dépende de la position angulaire du bras support à tout moment donné, dans le but de diriger le faisceau de rayons X à partir de sa source de telle façon qu'à tout moment donné il soit sensiblement perpendiculaire à la partie de l'objet ayant la forme de l'arcade dentaire.
