Abstract

Plusieurs pistes de données, formées chacune d'une bande de pellicule magnétique isotropique d'une anisotropie uniaxiale egale à zéro, sont formées dans un système de mémoire à parois à traverses. Chacune des bandes de pellicule magnétique isotropique définissant une piste de donnees utilise l'anisotropie induite par le contour de ses bords, plutôt que l'anisotropie induite par son champ magnétique d'axe facile, pour maintenir la paroi à traverses à l'intérieur du contour planar de la bande de pellicule L'utilisation de l'anisotropie de la bande isotropique de pellicule magnétique, induite par la forme, permet l'utilisation de pistes de données courbes. Les pistes de données courbes sont réalisées sous forme de système de mémoire à parois à traverses à boucle majeure/boucle mineure.
