Abstract

L'invention concerne les isolateurs de section pour caténaires. L'isolation est réalisée au moyen de barreau comportant une âme 1 en isolant électrique de bonne résistance à la traction, terminée à ses extrémités par des moyens d'attache 4 aux fils de contact 2 de la caténaire, et un revêtement 5 isolant électrique et de bonne résistance aux arcs électriques placé au moins à la partie inférieure de l'âme et dans le prolongement de la surface frottante des fils de contact. L'invention est applicable à tout type de caténaires servant à l'alimentation électrique et nécessitant l'isolement de portions successives.
