Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de scorie de haut fourneau. On soumet la matière humide brute à une phase de stockage préalable et d'homogénéisation pendant laquelle l'humidité est diminuée essentiellement par drainage, puis on exécute toutes les phases d'élimination des impuretés particulièrement nuisibles pouvant être identifiées, comme les fragments de réfractaires, le fer métallique, les oxydes de fer, les grains riches en silicates ferrifères, afin d'arriver à une tolérance de +- 1% pour la teneur en oxydes principaux, de 0,05 % pour la teneur en fer magnétique exprimé en Fe2 O3 , de 0,02% pour les sulfures et sulfates de métaux alcalino-terreux. Obtention d'une matière apte à servir en verrerie.
