Abstract

Substancé luminescente dans laquelle l'un des composants principaux du réseau de base est au moins l'un des éléments Y, La et les lanthanides. La substance est activée avec Gd et également avec au moins l'un des éléments Pb, Tl, Sb, Pr et Bi et contient, comme troisième activant, au moins l'un des éléments Mn, Tb, Eu, Dy, et Sm. Ces substances présentent une émission efficace provenant du troisième activant et elles sont utilisées dans les lampes à décharge dans la vapeur de mercure à basse pression.
