Abstract

Dispositif de protection de l'embouchure d'un four rotatif comprenant un anneau formé de plusieurs éléments creux fixés à l'extrémité du four et refroidis par circulation d'air, chaque élément étant formé d'une pièce support qui est fixée sur le four et d'une pièce d'usure qui protège la partie intérieure de la pièce support. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce que les pièces support comportent des bossages qui s'engagent dans des brides fixées extérieurement sur la virole du four et des surfaces d'appui qui sont appliquées sur l'extrémité de la virole du four et de la ou des viroles délimitant le ou les passages pour la circulation de l'air de refroidissement par des boulons disposés parallèlement à l'axe du four et prenant appui sur des pattes fixées extérieurement sur la virole du four. L'invention est applicable aux fours rotatifs utilisés notamment en cimenterie.
