Abstract
a. Procédé pour la carbonatation de solutions de saccharose pour une purification en continu de jus de betteraves sucrières et d'hydroxyde de calcium en phase liquide, par réaction avec du gaz carbonique dans une cuve de réaction cylindrique verticale. b. Installation caractérisée en ce que dans un mélangeur 6, dans le tiers supérieur d'une cuve 1 on opère le mélange du liquide à une pression de 150 à 300 atm avec un gaz amené par un tuyau 10 sous une pression de 30 à 50 atm, on fait passer le mélange à grande vitesse à travers un tuyau central 9 jusqu'au tiers inférieur 26 de la cuve, en ajoutant à la surface du liquide une solution fraîche de saccharose et d'hydroxyde de calcium. c. Procédé applicable à l'industrie sucrière.
