L'invention entre dans le domaine des machines à imprimer. Elément de frappe d'une machine à imprimer programmable, comportant une pluralité de caractères d'impression dont l'un au moins est un bâton, caractérisé en ce que la largeur du bâton est un multiple du pas minimal d'avance de ladite machine. S'applique en particulier pour l'impression de codes réalisés par des bâtonnets.

Elément de frappe dsune machine à imprimergogrammable
La présente invention concerne un élément de frappe d'une machine à imprimer programmable.
En particulier, l'invention permet avec une machine imprimante microprogrammée d'imprimer toutes espèces de codes réalisés sous forme de bâtonnets dont un exemple nullement limitatif est par exemple le code connu sous le nom de "CMC7", et cela avec un seul caractère d'un élément de frappe d'une imprimante programmée.
Dans les cas connus actuels, de tels codes sous forme de bâtonnets sont réalisés au moyen de machines spécifiquement conçues et réalisées pour ces applications et sont donc d'un coût élevé.
Le but de la présente invention consiste à réaliser de tels codages au moyen d'un équipement d'impression alphanumérique de grande diffusion, donc d'un coût de fabrication très inférieur et d'un entretien beaucoup moins délicat autant du point de vue des éléments mécaniques que de celui du personnel de maintenance.
L'invention a donc pour objet un élément de frappe d'une machine à imprimer programmable comportant une pluralité de caractères d'impression dont l'un au moins est un bâton, caractérisé en ce que la largeur du bâton est un multiple du pas minimal d'avance de ladite machine.
Avantageusement, la largeur du bâton est égale au pas minimal d'avance de ladite machine.
Selon une autre caractéristique, ledit caractère en forme de bâton est disposé de telle façon qu'il imprime un bâtonnet vertical.
On peut utiliser, par exemple, une imprimante microprogrammée à "marguerite". De tels équipements sont remarquables pour la possibilité qu'ils offrent de réaliser entre frappes successives des espacements de 0,21 mm ou multiples jusqu'à 125.
Dans ce cas, l'un des caractères de la "marguerite" est constitué par un bâtonnet de 0,21 mm de largeur, et l'on peut alors avec le programme jouer sur les espacements entre frappes successives de bâtonnets pour réaliser n'importe quel code bâtonnet.

Claims (4)

REVENDICATIONS
1/ Elément de frappe d'une machine à imprimer programmable comportant une pluralité de caractères d'impression dont l'un au moins est un bâton, caractérisé en ce que la largeur du bâton est un multiple du pas minimal d'avance de ladite machine.
2/ Elément de frappe d'une machine selon la revendications 1,caractérisé en ce que la largeur du bâton est égale au pas minimal d'avance de ladite machine.
3/ Elément de frappe d'une machine selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit bâton a une position telle qu'il en résulte une frappe d'un bâtonnet disposé verticalement.
4/ Machine à imprimer programmable caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un élément de frappe selon l'une des revendications précédentes.
