Abstract

Un dispositif de refroidissement (30) par soufflage de gaz dans une cavité (16) extérieure à un rotor (1), au pied des aubes mobiles (5), aboutit dans la cavité (16) après être passé par l’intérieur du cercle des aubes fixes (4) situées autour de la cavité, et en ayant donc subi un échauffement modéré, la plus grande partie du dispositif étant logée dans le stator (2) plus froid que le rotor (1). Le refroidissement peut donc être obtenu avec un débit de gaz plus petit. Et les jets de gaz soufflés dans la cavité (16) renforcent la séparation de son volume et de la veine d’écoulement des gaz chauds (3) en s’opposant aux fuites de ces derniers.
