Abstract
Un apparecchio selezionatore per selezionare parti o materiali secondo i loro pesi specifici comprende un serbatoio per liquidi (1), l'interno del quale è diviso in due sezioni (5a, 5b) da una parete divisoria (4), gabbie (6a, 6b) di rete metallica sollevabili poste nelle rispettive sezioni (5a, 5b) del serbatoio (1), tetrabromoetano liquido (2) avente un peso specifico di circa 2,95 e riempiente il serbatoio per liquidi (1) fino ad un livello superiore alle estremità superiori della parete divisoria (4) e delle gabbie (6a, 6b). Un liquido di risciacquo (3) come ad esempio acqua formante uno strato sulla superficie (7) del tetrabromoetano (2), e una piastra di spinta (11) mobile lungo la superficie (7) del tetrabromoetano (2) da una sezione all'altra del serbatolo (1). (Figura 1).
