Abstract
【解決手段】 工具(100)は、一般的に真鍮のような金属又は他の低コストの材料で作られ、機械加工の間に回転する。工具は、用途に応じて任意の形状(円筒形、円錐形)及び寸法とすることができる。直流電源(連続式又はパルス式)(112)が、工具及び加工物(113)間に電圧を供給するために用いられる。水、脱イオン水、又は電解液(硝酸ナトリウムのような)が、工具(100)と加工物(113)との間に供給される。加工物金属は、制御された方法で高強度の熱侵食により除去される。

Claims (10)
- 高強度の熱侵食により加工物金属の制御された除去を生じさせるための金属製の回転可能工具(100)と、
前記工具(100)に作動的に接続されて、複数の線軸の周りでの前記工具の電極(100)の移動を複雑な幾何学的形状を機械加工するように制御する数値制御装置(110、102、104)と、
を含むことを特徴とする多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。 - 前記工具(100)が、真鍮のような導電性材料であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記工具及び加工物間に電圧を供給するために用いられる直流電源(112)を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記直流電源(112)が、パルス直流電源であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記工具(100)が、円筒形状又は円錐形状を有しかつ簡単な或いは特殊な形状の機械加工チップを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 水と種々のタイプ及び導電強度の電解液とのうちの1つから選択された流体を供給する流体供給源(105、106)を更に含み、前記流体供給源(105、106)からの前記流体を前記工具(100)と該工具(100)及び加工物(113)間とに供給することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記電解液が、NaNO2、NaNO3、苛性ソーダ、又はNaClから成るグループのうちの1つから選択された塩を含む水溶液であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記数値制御装置が、ベース部(108)と該ベース部及び前記工具(100)間のロボット継手(102)とを含み、前記ロボット継手が、設定された少なくとも1つの軸線含み、所望の工具運動を達成するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。
- 前記数値制御装置が更に、
前記工具(100)への電力の供給を制御し、
侵食電流を感知することにより侵食強度をモニタし、
加工物(113)と前記工具(100)との間に持続性アーク又は短絡が発生しているかどうかを判断し、
前記侵食強度が設定レベルを下回る場合には工具送り速度を増大させ、また
前記持続性アーク又は短絡が発生している場合には工具送り速度を減少させることにより、
前記加工物に対する該工具送り速度を調整する、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多軸数値制御電気機械加工装置。 - 高強度の電熱侵食により加工物金属の制御された除去を生じさせるように回転可能工具(100)を回転させる段階と、
前記工具(100)に作動的に接続されて複雑な幾何学的形状を機械加工する数値制御装置(100、102、104)を用いて、複数の軸線の周りで該工具(100)を移動させる段階と、
侵食強度をモニタする段階と、
持続性アーク又は短絡が発生しているかどうかを判断する段階と、
前記侵食強度が設定レベルを下回る場合には工具送り速度を増大させ、また
前記持続性アーク又は短絡が発生している場合には工具送り速度を減少させることにより、
加工物に対する該工具送り速度を調整する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする多軸数値制御電気機械加工する方法。
