Claims (37)
- 電動車両のためのワイヤレス充電システムであって、
車両充電デバイスから離隔されたベース充電デバイスから電力をワイヤレスに受け取るように構成される、前記車両充電デバイスと、
前記車両の表面上の検出装置とを含み、前記検出装置が、前記車両の下のある区域内の動いている物体の存在を検出するように構成され、前記検出装置が、放射を送信し前記区域内から反射された放射を受信するように構成される少なくとも1つのアンテナ組立体を含み、前記少なくとも1つのアンテナ組立体が、前記送信された放射または前記受信された放射の少なくとも1つに対する放射パターンを有し、前記放射パターンが、前記車両の前記表面に垂直な第1の線に沿って、線形の尺度で前記放射パターンの最大の利得の半分未満の第1の利得強度を有する、システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのアンテナ組立体が、前記第1の線に沿って配置され、前記放射パターンが、前記表面に垂直な平面の中で、前記第1の線に沿った前記第1の利得と、前記表面に平行な第2の線に沿った第2の利得と、前記第1の線と前記第2の線との間の第3の線に沿った前記最大の利得とを有し、前記第1の利得が、前記最大の利得よりも対数の尺度で少なくとも10dB小さく、前記第2の利得が、前記最大の利得よりも対数の尺度で少なくとも10dB小さい、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第3の線が、前記第1の線から約30度、約35度、約40度、約45度、約50度、約55度、または約60度である、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記第3の線が、前記第1の線から30度と35度との間、35度と40度との間、40度と45度との間、45度と50度との間、50度と55度との間、または55度と60度との間である、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記放射パターンが、方位角について概ね無指向性であり、前記第3の線に沿った仰角に少なくとも1つのローブを有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記放射パターンが、前記第1の線の周りで概ね回転対称である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記表面が前記車両のアンダーボディのある部分を含み、前記表面が地面に向かう垂直な方向を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出装置と、前記車両充電デバイスまたは前記ベース充電デバイスの少なくとも1つとに動作可能に結合されたコントローラをさらに含み、前記コントローラが、前記検出装置から少なくとも1つの第1の信号を受信するように構成され、前記少なくとも1つの第1の信号が、前記区域内の動いている物体の存在を示し、前記コントローラが、前記少なくとも1つの第1の信号に応答するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、前記ベース充電デバイスと前記車両充電デバイスとの間の電力伝送を所定の時間期間中断することによって、前記少なくとも1つの第1の信号に応答するように構成される、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出装置が、前記中断された時間期間の間、前記区域を監視し続けるように構成される、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラがさらに、前記区域内の動いている物体の不在を示す少なくとも1つの第2の信号に応答するように構成される、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、前記ベース充電デバイスと前記車両充電デバイスとの間の電力伝送を開始することによって、前記少なくとも1つの第2の信号に応答するように構成される、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 電動車両のワイヤレス充電システムを制御する方法であって、
前記電動車両の下側の表面の下の領域において、エネルギー波をあるパターンで送信するステップであって、前記パターンが、前記下側の表面に垂直な第1の線に沿って、線形の尺度で前記パターンの最大の利得の半分未満の第1の利得を有する、ステップと、
前記領域内から反射されたエネルギー波を受信するステップと、

- 前記第3の線が、前記第1の線から30度と35度との間、35度と40度との間、40度と45度との間、45度と50度との間、50度と55度との間、または55度と60度との間である、請求項14に記載の方法。
