Description
Claims (4)
- 車輪に取り付けられたショック・アブソーバに関する緩衝性能をモニタするためのモニタ・システムにおいて、
車輪の半径方向加速度を検知して加速度信号を提供するセンサと、
運転手用の情報ディスプレイと、
センサからの加速度信号に応答し、車両サスペンション時定数より長い時間に渡って測定された加速度信号の離散的フーリエ変換を演算し、半径方向加速度の所定周波数範囲内のフーリエ成分の大きさを決定し、決定された大きさを車両にとって新しいショック・アブソーバであることを示す記憶された大きさと比較し、決定された大きさの記憶された大きさ以上の増大分に基づいて緩衝性能を決定し、運転手用の情報ディスプレイに緩衝性能を示す情報信号を提供する少なくとも1つのプロセッサと
からなることを特徴とするモニタ・システム。 - 請求項1記載のモニタ・システムにおいて、少なくとも1つのプロセッサは、0.5〜2.0Hz範囲内の半径方向加速度のフーリエ成分の大きさを決定し、決定された大きさを車両にとって新しいショック・アブソーバであることを示す0.5〜2.0Hz範囲内での記憶された大きさと比較することを特徴とするシステム。
- 車輪に取り付けられたショック・アブソーバに関する緩衝性能をモニタするためのモニタ方法において、
車輪の半径方向加速度を検知して半径方向の加速度信号を提供するステップと、
車両サスペンション時定数より長い時間に渡って測定された加速度信号の離散的フーリエ変換を演算するステップと、
半径方向の加速度の所定周波数範囲内のフーリエ成分の大きさを決定するステップと、
決定された大きさを、車両にとって新しいショック・アブソーバであることを示す記憶された大きさと比較するステップと、
決定された大きさの記憶された大きさ以上の増大分に基づいて、緩衝性能を決定するステップと、
緩衝性能を示す情報信号を提供するステップと、
運転手用の情報ディスプレイに、緩衝性能を示す情報信号を送信するステップと
からなることを特徴とするモニタ方法。 - 請求項3記載のモニタ方法において、半径方向加速度のフーリエ成分の大きさを決定するステップと、決定された大きさを車両にとって新しいショック・アブソーバであることを示す記憶された大きさと比較するステップとは、
0.5〜2.0Hz範囲内の半径方向加速度のフーリエ成分の大きさを決定するステップと、
決定された大きさを車両にとって新しいショック・アブソーバであることを示す0.5〜2.0Hz範囲内での記憶された大きさと比較するステップと
であることを特徴とするモニタ方法。
