Description
Claims (12)
- ゲル電気泳動プロセスを実行するのに適したゲル材料を押出形成するゲル押出形成装置において、
第1端と第2端とを有する押出形成キャビティを含んでいる押出形成装置ボディと、
前記押出形成装置ボディの前記第1端へ液体状材料を供給する液体状材料供給装置とを備え、
前記液体状材料が前記押出形成装置キャビティの中で冷却することによって形成されるゲルが前記押出形成キャビティの前記第2端から押し出されるようにしてある、
ことを特徴とするゲル押出形成装置。 - 前記押出形成キャビティが、前記第1端が前記第2端より低位にあるように配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記押出形成装置ボディが、前記押出形成キャビティの2つの側面を画成している一対の互いに離隔した板を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記一対の板のうちの少なくとも一方が冷却液で冷却されるようにしてあることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記液体状材料供給装置が、前記液体状材料を加圧して前記押出形成キャビティの前記第1端へ供給するポンプを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記押出形成キャビティの前記第1端へ供給される前記液体状材料の圧力によって前記ゲルが前記押出形成キャビティの前記第2端から押し出されるようにしてあることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記押出形成キャビティの前記第2端から押し出されたゲルを切断する切断装置を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記押出形成キャビティの前記第2端から押し出されるゲルを受取り、回転することでゲルを受取領域へ受渡すようにした受け台を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の押出形成装置。
- 前記受け台から空気を吸引することでゲルを前記受け台に定着させる吸着力を発生させる真空ポンプを更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の押出形成装置。
- ゲル電気泳動プロセスに用いるのに適したゲルを形成する方法において、
押出形成キャビティの第1端へ液体状材料を供給するステップと、
前記押出形成キャビティの中で、前記液体状材料を冷却して前記液体状材料からゲルを形成するステップと、
前記押出形成キャビティの第2端から前記ゲルを押し出すステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記液体状材料を供給するステップが、前記押出形成キャビティの前記第2端より低位にある前記押出形成キャビティの第1端へ前記液体状材料を供給するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記押し出されたゲルを電気泳動プロセスに用いるステップを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
