Description
Claims (14)
- ポリジエンを連続的に製造するための方法であって:
(a)液体の共役ジエン単量体および配位触媒系を第一の容器に加え、50重量%未満の有機溶媒を含む液体の重合媒体を生成させる工程;
(b)触媒によって単量体を重合させてポリジエンとし、これにより重合媒体の温度を上昇させて単量体の一部を気相の単量体に変化させる工程;
(c)重合媒体を撹拌して、それにより単量体の一部が気相の単量体に変化するのを促進する工程;
(d)容器から気相の単量体を取り除く工程;
(e)任意選択的に、容器から取り除いた気相の単量体を液体の単量体に凝縮させる工程;
(f)任意選択的に、凝縮した液体の単量体を第一の容器に移す工程;
(g)第一の容器内の単量体の濃度を第一の容器内の重合媒体の20重量%未満に維持するため、並びに、第一の容器内の空隙部を第一の容器の容積の40%から60%に維持するために、第一の容器から重合媒体の一部を取り除く工程であって、取り除かれた該重合媒体の一部に残存単量体を含むことを特徴とする工程;
(h)第一の容器から取り除かれた重合媒体を第二の容器に移す工程;
(i)撹拌して、第二の容器中の重合媒体の流れを維持する工程;
(j)残存単量体の一部を気相の残存単量体に転換させるのに十分な温度に第二の容器内を維持する工程;
(k)任意選択的に、第二の反応器から取り除かれた気相の残存単量体を液体の単量体に凝縮させる工程;
(l)任意選択的に、第二の容器から取り除かれた気相の単量体から転換させた液体の単量体を第一の容器に移す工程;
(m)任意選択的に、第二の反応器内でポリジエンを官能化させるために、第二の容器に官能化剤を加える工程;
(n)単量体の更なる重合を停止させるために、第二の容器に停止剤を加える工程;並びに
(o)ポリジエンを回収する工程
を含む、ポリジエンを連続的に製造するための方法。 - 第二の容器内における空隙部を第二の容器の30から70%の容積に維持することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 配位触媒系がランタニド系の触媒系もしくはコバルト系の触媒系を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 共役ジエン単量体が1,3−ブタジエンを含み、
前記プロセスから回収したポリジエンは、分子量分布が4未満で、シス含量が97重量%を超え、リビング末端を有する各ポリマーを10%より多く含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - (p)合計の単量体転化率が25重量%になる前に、反応性ポリマーを停止させる工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記単量体を重合させる工程が、15重量%以下の単量体転化率を達成していることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記初期混合物が、単量体、触媒および溶媒の総重量に対して5重量%未満の有機溶媒を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 単量体が1,3−ブタジエンを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 触媒系がランタニド系の触媒系もしくはコバルト系の触媒系を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 触媒系がランタニド系の触媒系を含み、単量体が1,3−ブタジエンを含み、
前記プロセスは、分子量分布が4未満で、シス含量が97%より大きく、ポリマーの少なくとも10%がリビング末端を有することを特徴とするポリブタジエンを製造する、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 更に、反応性ポリマーと単量体の混合物を65℃未満の温度に維持する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 更に、反応性ポリマーと単量体の混合物を30℃未満の温度に維持する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記反応性ポリマーを停止させる工程が、反応性ポリマーを官能化することを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 更に、反応性ポリマーを官能化する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
