Claims (4)
- LED素子を発光源とするLEDと、前記LEDからの出射光を所定の方向に反射する光反射面を有する光反射体を備え、
前記光反射面は少なくとも第1光反射面を有し、
前記第1光反射面は、第1の双曲柱面及び第2の双曲柱面を備え、
前記第1の双曲柱面は、内側焦点を前記光反射体の内部に設定すると共に、外側焦点を 前記LEDの位置に設定した双曲線を、その主軸に対して垂直方向に移動することで得られる面からなり、
前記第2の双曲柱面は、内側焦点を前記第1の双曲柱面の内側焦点と同一位置に設定すると共に、外側焦点を前記第1の双曲柱面の外側焦点とは異なる位置に設定した双曲線を、その主軸に対して垂直方向に移動することで得られる面からなることを特徴とするLED光源装置。 - 前記LEDは、少なくとも第1LEDと第2LEDとして複数個設けられており、
前記第1の双曲柱面の外側焦点は、前記第1LEDの位置に設けられており、
前記第2の双曲柱面の外側焦点は、前記第2LEDの位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED光源装置。 - 前記光反射面は、更に第2光反射面を有し、
前記第2光反射面は、前記第1光反射面よりも前記LEDから離れて位置すると共に、
前記LED素子の光軸に対して略垂直な方向へと突設された自由曲面からなり、
前記LEDから出射された光のうち、前記光軸を中心とする所定の角度範囲に出射された光が前記第1光反射面に照射され、
前記所定の角度範囲よりも大きい角度で出射された光が前記第2光反射面に照射されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2のいずれかに記載のLED光源装置。 - 前記LEDは、前記LED素子が透光性樹脂で樹脂封止されて光出射面が非球面状に形成され、前記LED素子から出射して前記透光性樹脂内に入射した光が該透光性樹脂の前記光出射面での屈折によるレンズ効果によって前記LED素子の光軸側に曲げられて出射されることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載のLED光源装置。
