Description
本発明は、ナノサイズのセルロース及びエチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤を含む、包装に使用するのに好適な材料に関する。本発明は、紙、ラベル、板紙、プラスチック又はフィルム製品であることができるそのような材料を製造する方法にも関する。
包装食品及び加工食品を含む食品及び加工食品は、一般に、微生物汚染及び品質劣化という2つの主な問題を受ける。
驚くべきことに、材料がエチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤を含み、包装に使用するのに好適な材料の中にナノサイズのセルロースを組込むことによって、上述した問題のいくつかを克服できることが、見出された。
本発明で使用されるエチレン捕捉剤は、例えば以下のものから選択できる:木炭上の臭素酸カリウム又はヨウ素酸、過マンガン酸カリウム、臭素酸カリウム及び硫酸、臭素液体、酸化銀、希土類酸化物、ホスフェート化合物、クロレート化合物、フェロシアニン化合物、ヒポクロリット、ヒポクロリット塩及び臭化物又はヨウ化物塩、クロレート、亜塩素酸塩、いくらかの金属及び金属酸化物、過マンガン酸K、アスコルビン酸、クエン酸ナトリウム及び水、過酸化物、過マンガン酸ナトリウム(ゼオライトなどのキャリヤーを必要とすることができるもの)、過ヨウ素酸、過マンガン酸カルシウム又はヨウ素酸カリウム、ペルオキシマンガン酸カリウム、トバモライト及び銀、ゾノトライト及び銀、硫酸第一鉄七水和物及び水酸化カルシウム、臭素化炭素質のモレキュラーシーブ、ビニルピリジン樹脂の臭素付加物及び臭化水素、臭素添加ビニルキノリンタイプ樹脂、次亜塩素酸カルシウム、次亜塩素酸ナトリウム、次亜塩素酸カリウム、及び次亜塩素酸マグネシウム。エチレン捕捉剤として機能する触媒化学物質は、以下のものを含む:モリブデン酸アンモニウム含有硫酸パラジウム触媒(検出用)、エチレン透過性基材中に組込まれた電子不足ジエン又はトリエン(ベンゼン、ピリジン、ジアジン、トリアジン又はテトラジン(電子吸引置換基を有するもの)、好ましくは、フルオロアルキル基、スルホン基及び/又はエステル基、エステル基はジカルボキシル化又はジカルボキシメチル化されているもの)、疎水性(ヒドロシリル化)触媒、例えばPt、高分子錯体を持つもの、CuCl及びAlCl3、Ti-、Al-、Ni又はFe-酸化物、パラジウムcpd.の配位によって製造されるもの、カーボンブラック、金属酸化物例えばアルミナ及び金属例えば白金上に吸着されたもの、シクロデキストリン及びPEI、塩化パラジウムで処理された活性炭、パラジウムドープゼオライトSocony Mobil(ZSM)-5、又は、UV光又は日光などの光への露出後にそのエチレン捕捉特性を得る感光剤。

以下の工程を含む、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース及びエチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤を含む分散物を製造する方法:
a)セルロース系繊維を含むスラリーを提供することであって、当該セルロース系繊維は、場合により、機械的処理、酵素処理、カルボキシメチル化、TEMPO酸化、CMCグラフト化、化学膨潤又は酸加水分解によって前処理されたものである、
b)当該スラリーにエチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤を添加すること、及び、エチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤がミクロフィブリル化セルロースの表面に吸収されているミクロフィブリル化セルロースを含む分散物が形成されるように、機械的粉砕によって当該スラリーを処理すること。

機械的粉砕が、ホモジナイザー中で実施される、[8]に記載の方法。

ホモジナイザー中の圧力が500~2000barである、[9]に記載の方法。

[8]の工程b)で得られる分散物を使用してウェブを形成すること、及び、前記ウェブを脱水及び/又は乾燥すること、の工程を含む、包装に使用するのに好適な材料を調製する方法。

ミクロフィブリル化セルロース及びエチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤を含む分散物であって、エチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤が、ミクロフィブリル化セルロースの表面に吸収される、前記の分散物。

紙、ラベル、板紙、プラスチック又はフィルム製品のコーティング又は含浸用の、[12]に記載の分散物の使用。
Claims (2)
- ミクロフィブリル化セルロース及びエチレン捕捉剤及び/又はエチレン吸収剤を含む、包装に使用するための材料であって、
エチレン捕捉剤又はエチレン吸収剤は、その上にトップコーティングが配置されているラベルの形態で存在し、
エチレン捕捉剤及び/又はエチレン吸収剤が、エチレン捕捉剤及び/又はエチレン吸収剤をカバーするトップコーティングの除去によって、又は、トップコーティングを溶解する湿気又は湿度の増加によって、露出されることができる、前記の材料。 - エチレン捕捉剤が、触媒である、請求項1に記載の包装に使用するための材料。
