Description
本出願は、2018年10月24日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/749,919号の利益を主張するものであり、その全内容および趣旨を、以下に完全に記載されているかのように、参照により本明細書に援用する。
本開示は、概して化学機械的調整プロセスに関する。特に、本開示の各実施形態は、化学機械的細胞爆砕プロセスによって製造された固体製品および液体製品、その製造システムおよび使用システム、ならびに製造方法および使用方法に関する。
以下の実施例は、例示的なものとして示すが、限定的なものではない。

Claims (20)
- 繊維材料と水とを含む原料を用意するステップと、
液体製品および乾燥パルプ製品を得るために前記原料を調整するステップと、を含み、
前記原料を調整するステップは、
前記原料を、シャフトを有する室に入れるステップと、
前記シャフトを回転させることによって前記原料にせん断力を加えるステップであって、前記繊維材料にせん断力を加えることによって前記繊維材料の圧力及び温度を上昇させる、ステップと、
前記繊維材料の複数の細胞の細胞爆砕を誘起するステップと、を含み、
前記シャフトは、当該シャフトの周りに円周方向に配置された1または複数の溝を有し、
前記せん断力が加えられる際に、前記室に対して外部加熱は行われない、液体製品および乾燥パルプ製品を得るためのプロセス。 - 前記繊維材料がセルロースを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料がリグニンとヘミセルロースとをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記原料に含まれる水の量が、前記原料の総重量に対して、約10重量%以上約90重量%以下である、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記細胞爆砕が誘起された後にさらなる乾燥を行うことなく、前記乾燥パルプ製品が、前記乾燥パルプ製品の総重量に対して約35重量%以下の量の水を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、前記液体製品の総重量に対して約50重量%以上の量の水を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記原料にせん断力を加えるステップにおいて、前記原料から水の第2の部分を除去する、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、前記原料に存在するVOCの少なくとも75%を含有する、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記調整が、約93℃以上約177℃以下の最高温度で行われる、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記乾燥パルプ製品をペレット化してペレットを形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、水と、ミネラル、タンパク質、アミノ酸、フミン酸、フルボ酸、有機酸のうちの1つ以上とを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ミネラルが、カリウム、リン、窒素化合物、カルシウム、マグネシウム、硫黄、硫黄(IV)(sulfurous)、ナトリウム、鉄、マンガン、亜鉛、および銅のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項11に記載のプロセス。
- 前記液体製品が、セルロース、リグニン、およびヘミセルロースのうちの1つ以上をさらに含む、請求項11に記載のプロセス。
- 前記細胞爆砕を誘起するステップは、前記繊維材料を前記室内の圧力に対してより低い圧力にさらすステップを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記低い圧力は、大気圧である、請求項14に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料は、木材に由来する、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記繊維材料は、木材チップを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記室は、前記室の内面に配置された複数のせん断部材をさらに備える、請求項1記載のプロセス。
- 前記シャフトの回転によって、前記複数のせん断部材と、前記1または複数の溝との間に配置された前記繊維材料にせん断力を加える、請求項18に記載のプロセス。
- 前記乾燥パルプ製品は、露出したセルロース繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
