    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. Ｒ，Ｇ，Ｂカラー２値化信号と、画素の明るさ
    を表わす輝度２値化信号と、水平および垂直同期
    信号と、１画素走査時間に対応するクロツク信号
    とを入力信号とし、Ｒ，Ｇ，Ｂカラー２値化信号
    により８色の画像表現を行うカラー画像処理装置
    に信号を供給するカラー表現多色化アダプタにお
    いて、前記輝度２値化信号が強レベルのとき前記
    のＲ，Ｇ，Ｂカラー２値化信号を透明通過させ、
    前記輝度２値化信号が弱レベルのとき前記のＲ，
    Ｇ，Ｂカラー２値化信号と黒レベルもしくは白レ
    ベルとをクロツク信号に同期して交互に切換え出
    力する、面積階調変調回路が設けられたことを特
    徴とするカラー表現多色化アダプタ。
