Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は重油を気体で霧化して燃焼させる重油
霧化装置に係るものである。従来の外部混合型の
霧化装置は、比較的低圧(1Kg/cm2以下)の気体
で霧化が可能であるが、多量の気体を必要とする
難点があり、また、内部混合型の霧化装置は気体
の量は少くてすむが、比較的高圧(2〜3Kg/
cm2)を必要とする欠点があつた。本考案は低圧
で、しかも少量の気体で霧化するようにしたもの
である。以下図について詳述すると次の通りであ
る。符号1は外周又は内周に多数の螺旋状の溝2
を設けた霧化媒体ノズルであり、この霧化媒体ノ
ズル1を外管3内に装入する。4は内管であつ
て、この内管4は、図示の通り、前記霧化媒体ノ
ズル1の中央部同心軸上に装置する。そして、該
内管4の先端には、外周に多数の螺旋状旋回溝
2′を形成し、その下流側に渦巻室5と噴出孔6
を設けた液体ノズル7を設けると共に該液体ノズ
ル7と前記霧化媒体ノズル1の下流側には、液体
の噴出速度とその広がりを制御する先端ノズル8
を設ける、かかる構成に於いて、内管4に導入さ
れた重油は、液体ノズル7に至り、それに構成さ
れた多数の溝2′によつて旋回霧化を行ないなが
ら渦巻室5にはいり、ここで発生する渦流により
更に霧化が促進されて噴出孔6から旋回流となつ
て噴出する。他方、外管3内に導入された気体
は、霧化媒体ノズル1に至り、ここで多数の溝2
によつて旋回流を与えられながら噴出する。この
気体の噴出流は、前記噴出孔6から旋回流で噴出
する油の粒子を巻き込んで混合し、その霧化を一
層促進する。充分に霧化され、且つ気体と混合し
た油の粒子は、先端ノズル8部分から噴出する。
かかる先端ノズル8の長さ、口径を適宜選択する
ことにより混合体の噴出速度、広がり角度を自由
に制御することができ、自在な火炎形状を得るこ
とができる。

A liquid nozzle 7 is provided, and on the downstream side of the liquid nozzle 7 and the atomizing medium nozzle 1, a tip nozzle 8 is provided for controlling the ejection speed and spread of the liquid.
In such a configuration, the heavy oil introduced into the inner pipe 4 reaches the liquid nozzle 7, enters the swirl chamber 5 while being swirled and atomized by the large number of grooves 2' formed therein, and enters the swirl chamber 5, where it is The atomization is further promoted by the vortex generated by the vortex flow, and the atomization is ejected from the ejection hole 6 as a swirling flow. On the other hand, the gas introduced into the outer tube 3 reaches the atomizing medium nozzle 1 where it passes through a number of grooves 2.
It is ejected while being given a swirling flow. This jet stream of gas entrains and mixes the oil particles jetted out in a swirling flow from the jet hole 6, thereby further promoting atomization. The oil particles that have been sufficiently atomized and mixed with gas are ejected from the tip nozzle 8 portion.
By appropriately selecting the length and diameter of the tip nozzle 8, the ejection speed and spread angle of the mixture can be freely controlled, and a flexible flame shape can be obtained.

本考案は、以上の通り、第一段階の霧化を油の
圧力を利用して、内管の先端に設けた液体ノズル
の多数の溝と渦巻室で行なうと共に第二段階では
旋回のかかつた気体により、前記第一段階での霧
化を促進させる構成を採用したから、効率よく霧
化が進行し、このため低圧で、少量の気体による
良好な霧化を実行できる効果がある。
