Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a ventilating apparatus from being left ON or OFF carelessly and to ventilate a bathroom properly by a construction wherein a common terminal of an operation switch constructed of a three-way switch is connected to one pole of a power source, an ON terminal thereof to a ventilation fan and an OFF terminal thereof to a humidity sensor and a humidity sensing switch. CONSTITUTION:While an illumination switch element 6 of an operation switch 3 is provided for lighting an illuminator when a bathroom is employed, a ventilation switch element 5 is provided for operating a ventilation fan 1 when the bathroom is employed or after it is employed, and the ventilation fan 1 is always operated by pushing the element 5 onto the ON side. When it is pushed onto the OFF side, electrification of the ventilation fan 1 is disconnected, a humidity sensor 2 is connected to a power source 13 and this humidity sensor 12 detects humidity in the bathroom. When the humidity exceeds a prescribed value, a humidity sensing switch 4 is closed automatically and thereby the ventilation 1 is electrified and starts operation. Even when it is forgotten that the ventilation switch element 5 is put onto the OFF side, the ventilation fan 1 is stopped automatically when ventilation turns unnecessary, and in addition, it can be operated also at all times irrespective of humidity.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In such a conventional configuration, when a user enters the bathroom, the user turns on the illuminator 101 or turns on the ventilation device 1oo.
In some cases, the user may forget to turn on or turn off the operation switch 102. In particular, the ventilation device 10o is more difficult to discern the energized state than the illuminator 101, so it is often the case that the operator forgets to turn on or turn off the operation switch 102.

Function: With this configuration, when the operation switch is operated and the common terminal is connected to the input terminal, the ventilation fan is energized and operates at all times. Then, when you switch the operation switch and connect the common terminal to the disconnected terminal, the humidity sensor detects the humidity, and if the humidity is lower than the predetermined value, the humidity sensor switch remains open and the ventilation fan is stopped, and the humidity reaches the predetermined value. When the humidity exceeds this value, the humidity sensor is activated, the humidity sensor switch is closed, and the ventilation fan automatically starts operating.
