[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Field of Industrial Application) This invention supplies chemicals, water, liquid fertilizer, etc. to trees including fruit trees to control and sterilize harmful insects such as pine beetles, as well as for tree transplantation. It concerns methods for curing, controlling growth, and improving quality.

(Prior Art) For example, to control harmful insects and harmful bacteria on trees, a method is generally adopted in which a chemical is sprayed over the entire tree using a sprayer. This method has little medicinal efficacy against harmful insects and bacteria that have infiltrated the inside of the tree, is affected by rainfall, and requires time and effort to spray. moreover,
The impact of chemical spraying on the human body and the environment cannot be ignored.

For this reason, instead of spraying the chemical over the entire tree, there is a method of spraying or injecting the chemical into the soil and letting it be absorbed by the roots of the tree, but like the above method,
The problem of environmental pollution arises.

Another method is to make a hole in the tree trunk and inject the chemical directly into the tree trunk, but this not only leaves a hole in the tree trunk and impairs its beauty, but also causes scars on the tree trunk, which can lead to rot, abnormal growth, and reduced strength. There were drawbacks that caused various problems.

As a means to solve such problems, the present applicant, who is the inventor, invented a method for directly supplying a chemical solution to the roots of a tree by fitting a solution supply bag to the cut roots of the tree. I recently filed a patent application (JP-A-Sho).

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, the above-mentioned method of supplying a chemical solution or the like from the roots also requires skill and labor to search for and dig up the position of the root to which the solution supply bag is to be fitted. In addition, for example, because the liquid supply pipe for supplying medicinal solutions to the liquid supply bag is exposed above the ground, the liquid supply pipe may be removed by children, cats, dogs, etc. Later management problems arise, and in gardens, the grass and moss may become rough due to digging, and rocks and lanterns may need to be moved, and in the case of roadside trees, the pavement around the trees must be removed. There is a problem.

Attach the liquid supply bag to the cut branch of the tree and apply the chemical solution,
A tank containing substances that can be absorbed by the branches, such as water and liquid fertilizer, is attached to a branch or the like at a higher position than the liquid supply bag, and the tank and the liquid supply bag are connected via a liquid supply pipe. Then, an air vent pipe is connected to the liquid supply pipe, and the chemical liquid, etc. in the tank is semi-forcibly supplied to the cut branch.

(Function) The chemical liquid etc. in the tank enters the liquid supply bag through the liquid supply pipe. At this time, the air in the liquid supply bag is discharged from the air vent pipe due to the entry of the chemical liquid.

Since water pressure is applied to the cut end of the branch into which the liquid supply pipe is fitted, the chemical solution etc. is mainly absorbed semi-forcibly from the cut end. Furthermore, since the cut end is always immersed in the chemical solution and does not come into contact with air, the cut end does not dry out and form a film, and absorbs the chemical solution well.

As a result, the chemicals absorbed from the branches are distributed throughout the tree, and can be used not only to control harmful insects and bacteria, but also to provide curing when transplanting trees, control growth, and improve quality.

6 is a connector made of the same material as the main body 1, and has a cylindrical shape that tapers toward the main body 1 as a whole, and has a plurality of serrated protrusions 7 on the inner circumferential surface to prevent it from coming off. They are installed in parallel. It is best to form the left end into a lattice shape to make it easier to insert the roots. 8 is a collar for preventing water leakage. Main body 1
The connector 6 is available in six different sizes depending on the thickness of the branch, and is selected as appropriate during construction.

Then, when you open the pot 11, the chemical solution will be in the liquid supply pipe 10.
It is supplied to the main body 1 via. The air inside the liquid supply pipe and main body accumulates in the air reservoir 2 and then passes through the air vent port 3 and is discharged from the end of the air vent pipe 12. Therefore, when the chemical solution overflows from the end of the air vent pipe, the pinch bottle 13 (or roller Clamp) to block the air vent pipe.

The chemical solution in the solution supply bag A is absorbed through the cut end of the cut branch T and spreads over the entire target tree T. According to experiments, it takes 5 to 10 days for the chemical solution to penetrate to the leaf tips. Further, the period required for absorption of a prescribed amount of drug solution is approximately one week.

In addition to the above-described embodiments, water, liquid fertilizer, etc. may be stored in a liquid supply bag and supplied to the cut branches. Further, it is also possible to supply a liquid supply bag to the cut roots at the same time as supplying the chemical liquid to the cut branches. In this case, the air vent pipe should be exposed above ground.

When inserting a connector into a cut branch or root, applying clay to the outside of the cut surface and surrounding area will not only make it easier to insert the connector, but will also prevent leakage of chemicals and protect the cut surface. can. In addition, clay has more iron than ordinary soil, so it can promote the growth of trees.
