ン側に戻す冷却水戻し通路と、冷却水戻し通路の
下流側端部に接続されるサーモスタツトケースと
、ウオータポンプの吸込側とサーモスタツトケー
スとを連通するサクシヨン通路と、冷却水出口通
路とサーモスタツトケースとを連通するバイパス
通路とが設けられたV型エンジンにおいて、 エンジンの長手方向にみて一方の端部(第1端
部)側にウオータポンプと冷却水出口通路とを配
置し他方の端部(第2端部)側にサーモスタツト
ケースを配置し、サクシヨン通路とバイパス通路
とを夫々両バンク間のV字状空間部に収容できる
ような形状でサーモスタツトケースに一体化し、
サーモスタツトケースをシリンダブロツクの第2
端部の壁面に第1端部側に向かつてボルトで締結
固定する一方、ウオータポンプにサクシヨン通路
挿入部を設けるとともに冷却水出口通路にバイパ
ス通路挿入部を設け、サクシヨン通路挿入部とこ
れに挿入されたサクシヨン通路とをエンジンの長
手方向に遊動可能に連結するサクシヨン通路連結
部材と、バイパス通路挿入部とこれに挿入された
バイパス通路とをエンジンの長手方向に遊動可能
に連結するバイパス通路連結部材とを設けたこと
