Since electronic watt-hour meters do not have a moving part like the rotating disk of an inductive watt-hour meter, they are equipped with a visible light indicator using a light emitting diode or the like to check their operation. I tried to check the display. Its configuration is shown in FIG. Frequency dividers 2 and 3 are connected in parallel to a power-frequency converter 1 that converts power detected from a load voltage V and a load current I into a frequency. The frequency dividing section 2 weights the output signal of the power-frequency converting section 1, and the counting display section 4 counts the output signal of the frequency dividing section 2 and displays it as an amount of electric power. On the other hand, the frequency divider 3 divides the output signal of the power-frequency converter 1 into a frequency suitable for visual confirmation, and the visible light indicator 5 performs a blinking display based on the output signal. With this electronic watt-hour meter, it is possible to easily grasp the amount of electricity used by measuring the blinking frequency of the visible light indicator 5 using a stopwatch while it is installed. When testing a watt-hour meter by receiving the blinking display on the display 5 with a detector, the test time is as long as that of an inductive watt-hour meter, and the high-speed pulse that is a characteristic of electronic watt-hour meters is required. The disadvantage is that the advantage of shortening the test time is not fully utilized.

In order to shorten the test time, if the output signal of the power-frequency converter 1 is used to flash the visible light display 5 as shown in FIG. 4, the test time will be shortened, but the visible light display Since the device 5 blinks at a high speed, it cannot be visually determined, and it is impossible to easily grasp the power usage level by visual inspection when the device 5 is installed.

For this reason, as shown in FIG. 5, in addition to the configuration shown in FIG. There is an electronic watt-hour meter that makes it possible to visually grasp the usage level and also shortens the test time by using high-speed pulses taken out from the test terminals 6, but due to the increase in the number of test terminals 6, There are drawbacks such as an increase in the size of the terminal portion, a complicated structure, and an increase in price.

The present invention includes a power-frequency converter that detects power based on load voltage and load current and converts this power into a frequency, a frequency divider that weights the output signal of the power-frequency converter, and a frequency divider that weights the output signal of the power-frequency converter. It has a count display unit that counts the output signal of and displays it as electric energy, and a display unit that has both a visible light emitter and a non-visible light emitter. The output signal of the converter is divided into a frequency that can be visually determined to cause blinking.
An electronic device characterized in that the blinking of the invisible light emitter is performed using either an output signal of the power-frequency converter or a signal obtained by dividing the output signal to a frequency that can be detected by an invisible light detector. The configuration of an electronic watt-hour meter according to an embodiment of the present invention is described in a first embodiment.
As shown in the figure. As shown in FIG. 1, the electronic watt-hour meter according to the present invention includes a power-frequency converter 11 that converts power detected from a load voltage V and a load current I into a frequency, and an output of the power-frequency converter 11. A frequency divider 12 that weights signals, and a count display unit 1 that counts the output signal of the frequency divider 12 and displays it as electric energy.
4 is connected to the output of the power-frequency converter 11 in parallel with the frequency divider 12, and converts the output signal of the power-frequency converter 11 to a frequency at which the blinking frequency of the operation display using visible light can be visually determined. A display that has a frequency dividing section 13 that divides the frequency up to , a visible light emitter 16 connected to the output of the frequency dividing section 13, and an invisible light emitter 17 connected to the output of the power-frequency converter 11. The operation of the electronic watt-hour meter according to the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above will be explained. The power-frequency converter 11, the frequency divider 12, and the count display 14 are the same as the conventional ones, so their explanation will be omitted. The display device 15 has both a visible light emitter 16 and an invisible light emitter 17, and the visible light emitter 16 divides the output signal of the power-frequency converter 11 to a frequency that can be easily confirmed visually. The indicator 15 emits blinking light in response to the output signal of the divided frequency dividing section 13, so the display 15 functions as an operation display, and the blinking light emission of the visible light emitter 16 can be used to grasp the power usage level in the installed state. I can do it. In addition, since the invisible light emitter 17 flashes and emits light in response to the output signal of the power-frequency converter 11, a detector capable of detecting this invisible light is placed in front of the display 15 to enable high-speed processing. The test can be conducted with Furthermore, since there is no need to provide a special terminal for testing, it is possible to avoid increasing the size of the terminal portion and increasing the price.

Next, a modification of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIG. The difference in Figure 2 from Figure 1 is that
The intermediate frequency division output of the frequency division section 22 that weights the output signal of the power-frequency conversion section 11 and outputs the signal to the count display section 14 without providing a special frequency division section 13 for operation display in the figure. is used as a blinking signal for the visible light emitter 16, and a 1/2 frequency divider 23 is added between the invisible light emitter 17 and the power-frequency converter 11.

The electronic watt-hour meter of this modification eliminates the need to separately provide an operation display output by obtaining the operation display output from the middle of the weighting frequency division section 22, and also uses an invisible light emitter. 17 and the power-frequency converter 11, the pulse width of the output signal of the power-frequency converter 11 is short, causing the invisible light emitter 17 to emit light. It has features such as being effective in cases where there is a possibility that it cannot be detected by a non-visible light detector even if it is exposed to light. Note that the frequency division section added between the invisible light emitter 17 and the power-frequency conversion section 11 is not limited to the 1/2 frequency division section, but divides the frequency to a frequency that can be detected by the invisible light detector. Any frequency dividing section is sufficient.

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, an electronic watt-hour meter is provided with a display having both a visible light emitter and a non-visible light emitter, and the blinking of the visible light emitter of the display is controlled by electric power. The output signal of the frequency converter is divided to a frequency at which blinking can be visually determined, and the blinking of the invisible light emitter is performed using the output signal of the power-frequency converter or the output signal of the invisible light detector. Since the signal is divided to a detectable frequency, the operation of the electronic watt-hour meter can be confirmed by the blinking of the visible light emitter, and the blinking can be used to monitor the power usage. It can be easily grasped even in the installed state. In addition, since invisible light emitters flash and emit light at high speed, it is possible to test electronic watt-hour meters at high speed by placing a detector that can detect this invisible light in front of the display. I can do it. Therefore, there is no need to provide special terminals for testing.
It is possible to avoid increasing the size of the terminal part and increasing the price.
