Errors will inevitably occur, and the back cushion material may be slightly deformed (warped, etc.) after each engagement protrusion is attached, so please be sure that each engagement protrusion actually matches each engagement hole accurately. is rare. Therefore, when stacking the back cushion material on the support frame, it is difficult for all of the engagement protrusions to engage with each engagement hole, making the joining process difficult.
Furthermore, even if the respective engaging protrusions were forced to engage with the respective engaging holes, there were problems such as the engaging protrusions becoming bent or broken during use of the chair.

In a joint structure such as a chair back part that joins one member and the other member to each other by engaging with a hole, the engaging protrusion includes a shaft portion and an outer surface on the distal end side of the shaft portion extending toward the rear end side. an engagement surface extending in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft from the top of the tapered surface to the shaft; and an engagement surface extending outward from the top of the tapered surface toward the rear end of the shaft. A locking head is provided, and the one member is provided with a plurality of holes larger than the shaft and smaller than the locking head, and the shaft of the engagement protrusion is inserted into each hole and engaged. The engaging head of the mating protrusion is brought into contact with the surface opposite to the overlapping surface of one member, and the engaging hole is formed with a sufficient depth on the circumferential surface in the direction in which the engaging protrusion is inserted. The circumferential surface of the engagement hole is formed into a tapered guide receiving surface into which the shaft of the engagement protrusion is guided and inserted, and the tip of the shaft of the engagement protrusion is guided by the tapered guide receiving surface. The engagement surface of the locking protrusion is adapted to engage with the peripheral edge of the engagement hole of the other member.

There is. That is, the substrate 19 of the back cushion material 2 is provided with through holes 17 located at the four corners corresponding to the engaging protrusions 5 and having a predetermined opening diameter. The boss portion 22 shown in the figure is inserted into this engagement hole forming member 18.
The engagement hole forming member 18 is fixed to the back cushion material 2 by fixing the flange portion 21 of the engagement hole forming member 18 on the overlapping surface 4 with a tack 20. The depth of the engagement hole 6 in the direction in which the engagement protrusion 5 is inserted is ensured to be sufficiently deep by the inner peripheral surface of the boss portion 22, and the circumferential surface of the engagement hole 6 is overlapped. Tapered guide tray 23 that has a large diameter on the mating surface 4 side and gradually becomes smaller on the opposite side.
The tip of the tapered guide receiving surface 23 serves as an engagement peripheral edge, and is adapted to engage with any of the engagement surfaces 12b of the engagement projections 5. In addition, the back cushion material 2 has an overlapping surface 4.
A cushion 24 made of, for example, sponge is glued to the back surface of the substrate 19 forming the substrate 19, and the surface of the cushion 24 is covered with a decorative cover 7' secured with a tacker 25. Further, the minimum inner diameter of the engagement hole 6 is set to an intermediate dimension between the maximum outer diameter of the tapered surface 12a of the engagement projection 5 and the bottom outer diameter of the engagement surface 12b. However, as shown in FIG. 2, once the engagement surface 12b engages with the engagement periphery of the tapered guide receiving surface 23 of the engagement hole 6, it will not come out from the engagement hole 6. It's summery.

もほとんどない。(Effects) As described above, according to the present invention, when each engaging protrusion is inserted into each engaging hole, the tip of the shaft portion of each engaging protrusion is guided by the tapered guide receiving surface of each engaging hole. At the same time, the locking head of each engagement protrusion moves following the guide of the shaft part, and each engagement protrusion is accurately oriented to each engagement hole, so even if one member overlaps due to installation error. Even if the position of each engaging protrusion provided on the mating surface is slightly shifted, or even if the position of each engaging hole provided on the mating surface of the other member is slightly shifted, the member will still be slightly deformed. Even if the engagement surface of each engagement protrusion is engaged with the peripheral edge of each engagement hole easily and appropriately. Therefore, it is very easy to join one member to the other, and even when a large external shearing force is applied to the shaft of the engagement protrusion during use of a chair back, etc., it will not work properly. Because they are engaged, the engagement protrusion is unlikely to bend or break.

合構造。 A chair back in which one member and the other member are joined to each other by engaging a plurality of engagement protrusions protruding from the overlapping surface of one member into respective engagement holes provided on the overlapping surface of the other member. In the joint structure of the shaft, the engaging protrusion includes a shaft, a tapered surface that gradually widens toward the rear end on the outer surface of the distal end of the shaft, and an axial direction of the shaft from the top of the tapered surface to the shaft. an engaging surface extending in a direction perpendicular to the shaft, and a locking head extending outward from the top of the tapered surface on the rear end side of the shaft, the one member having a locking head that is larger than the shaft and A plurality of holes smaller than the locking head are provided, and the shaft portion of the engagement protrusion is inserted into each hole, and the locking head of the engagement protrusion is located on a surface opposite to the overlapping surface of one member. The engaging hole has a circumferential surface in a direction in which the engaging protrusion is inserted to a sufficient depth, and the circumferential surface of the engaging hole guides the shaft of the engaging protrusion. It is formed on a tapered guide receiving surface to be inserted, and the tip of the shaft portion of the engagement protrusion is guided by this tapered guide receiving surface so that the engagement surface of the locking protrusion is aligned with the engagement hole of the other member. A joint structure for a chair backrest, etc., characterized by being engaged with a peripheral edge.
