温度と滅菌時間を常に把握しておく必要がある。
ところが、従来の高圧蒸気滅菌装置では、純粋に
滅菌所要時間だけで滅菌できたのか、あるいは昇
温行程も滅菌に影響していたのかを正確に判断す
ることができず、新薬の滅菌条件等(必要滅菌温
度、必要滅菌時間)を調べるのには適していなか

て前記パイプ内の滅菌室に入れ、前記缶体内の高
圧蒸気にて滅菌すると共に、前記他端側の内外バ
ルブを開閉することにより滅菌処理した滅菌物を
前記他端側の空間室を経て前記パイプから取出す

明の滅菌装置は、上記パイプの他端側に配設した
内外バルブを開閉することにより、滅菌処理した
滅菌物をパイプから取出すようにしているため、
排気行程も省略される。e. 部にはカプセルストツパ11が出入する出入口1

成された開口部15は、ケース2に回動可能に取

プ4の上端部に形成した入り口Xから入れ、外側
の手動ボールバルブ5を開けると、アンプル剤は
真空室18に滑り落ちる。そして再び外側の手動
ボールバルブ5を閉め、真空ポンプ20を始動さ
せると共に、結合パイプ21と22のそれぞれ手
動ボールバルブ25および26を開けて真空室1
8および19を真空にし、そののち手動ボールバ
ルブ25および26を閉めて真空ポンプ20を止
める。この状態で、内側の手動ボールバルブ6を
開けると、これに伴つてアンプル剤は滅菌室17
に滑り落ち、カプセルストツパ11に当たつて停
止する。アンプル剤を滅菌室17に入れた後に内
側の手動ボールバルブ6を再び閉め、高圧蒸気に

び真空室を経てパイプ4の出口Yから出てくるよ
うになつている。さらに、チユーブ23と24と
が分岐する箇所に手動ボールバルブを配設するこ
ともでき、これによつて各チユーブ23,24毎
に手動ボールバルブ25,26を設ける必要がな
くなる。その他、高圧蒸気滅菌器に限定されず、
EOG滅菌器又は蒸気滅菌器とEOG滅菌器の兼用
にも可能である。そしてまた、上記真空室18,
19は、アンプル剤等の滅菌物を一時停留するた
めの空間室でもよい。ただし真空室であると、多
数の滅菌物を出し入れする場合、滅菌室17に空

ので、従来の滅菌装置に必要な昇温行程を省略で
きる。また滅菌処理終了後は、排気行程を行わず
に滅菌物を上記パイプから取り出しているので、
排気行程も省略できる。したがつて、本考案の高
圧蒸気滅菌装置によれば、滅菌物の滅菌処理に要
する時間がほとんど純粋な滅菌時間だけであるの
で、大幅に滅菌処理時間を短縮でき、効率のよい
滅菌処理を行え、製品コストの低減化が図れる。
しかも、従来の滅菌装置の如く昇温行程の滅菌に
対する影響がなくなるので、新薬の滅菌条件等を
正確に調べることができ、汎用性に優れている。g.
