本考案は遠赤外線により脱臭効果を高めた脱臭
具に関する。

従来、遠赤外線を利用した脱臭器として、例え
ば実開昭63−160843号公報に記載されているよう
に、容器内にシート状の遠赤外線放射体を収容し
たものが知られている。

本考案の課題は、このような脱臭器よりも脱臭

り扱い及び形態に至便な脱臭具を提供することに
ある。

れらキヤツプの少なくとも一方に孔を設けるとと
もに、上側のキヤツプに、摘みと飾りを兼ねた根
付を取り付けたものである。

ることができるとともに、特定の形体を維持で
き、容器に入れなくともそのままで使用できる。
また、素焼き芯材を棒状としてその表面を樹脂
被覆した上に、その上下両端部にキヤツプを被せ
て補強したので、強度上の問題はない。更に、該
キヤツプに孔を設けたので、素焼き芯材の通気性
及び脱臭作用も保証される。また、上側のキヤツ
プに、摘みと飾りを兼ねた根付を取り付けたの
で、携行及び収納・取り出しに便利であるととも
に、装飾効果もある。

以下、本考案の一実施例について説明する。
第1図は本考案による脱臭具1の断面図、第2
図はこれを煙草包装ケース中に入れた使用例の斜
視図である。この脱臭具1は、丸棒状の素焼き芯
材2の外周面を樹脂被覆3で覆うとともに、該素
焼き芯材2の両端部に金属製のキヤツプ4,5を
被せたものである。一方のキヤツプ4の中央には
接続リング6が突設され、該接続リング6に摘み
と飾りを兼ねた鎖状または数珠状の根付7が取り
付けられている。他方のキヤツプ5の中央には孔
8が穿設されている。
素焼き芯材2は、遠赤外線を放射する自然石、
例えば成分としてケイ素分74.98%、ナトリウム
分4.35%、カリウム分4.71%、アルミ分13.98%、
鉄分0.78%、チタン分0.03%、カルシウム分0.29
%、その他の希産鉱物0.72%の長石の粉末に、必
要により適量の粘土を加えて850℃〜1000℃の温
度で素焼きして丸棒状に固めたものである。
樹脂被覆3は、合成樹脂の筒状体を熱収縮させ
て素焼き芯材2の外周面に付着したものである。
なお、この樹脂被覆3は樹脂コーテングによつて
形成しても良い。
この脱臭具1は、その素焼き芯材2が上記のよ
うに遠赤外線を放射する自然石の粉末を素焼きし
て固めたものであるため、単位体積当たりの気孔
数が非常に多く、臭気の捕集率が非常に高いのに
加え、それ自体から遠赤外線を放射するので(放
射された遠赤外線は樹脂被覆3を透過する)、臭
気分を遠赤外線で活性化して臭気の捕集効果を高
めることができ、また遠赤外線は臭気分を分解す
る効果があることも確かめられている。従つて脱
臭効果が非常に高いとともに、再生(捕捉した臭
気の離脱)も早い。さらに遠赤外線は殺菌作用も
ある。
この脱臭具1は、例えば第2図に示すように紙
巻き煙草9と同程度の長さ及び太さに成形し、煙
草包装ケース10内の空きスペースに入れて使用
する。このような使用形態の場合には、紙巻き煙
草9の悪臭分を脱臭できるとともに、その喫い味
をマイルドにできる。長時間使用してその作用が
減退したならば、脱臭具1を煙草包装ケース10
から抜き出して数十分間放置しておくだけで、脱
臭具1に捕集された臭気が離脱して脱臭効果が復
元(再生)する。太陽光線に当てると再生時間を
短縮できる。

本考案の脱臭具によれば次のような効果があ
る。
素焼き芯材は、遠赤外線を放射する自然石の
粉末を素焼きして固めたものであるため、単位
体積当たりの気孔数が非常に多く、それだけ脱
臭効果が良いとともに、再生(捕捉した臭気の
離脱)効果も良い。このような脱臭効果及び再
生効果は遠赤外線による臭気の分解ないし活性
化により助長される。
素焼きであると強度上問題があるが、樹脂被
覆することによりその補強を図ることができる
とともに、特定の形体を維持でき、容器に入れ
なくともそのままで使用でき、取り扱い及び携
帯に至便である。
素焼き芯材を棒状としてその表面を樹脂被覆
した上に、その上下両端部にキヤツプを被せて
補強したので、強度上の問題はない。
キヤツプに孔を設けたので、素焼き芯材の通
気性及び脱臭作用も保証される。
上側のキヤツプに、摘みと飾りを兼ねた根付
を取り付けたので、携行及び収納・取り出しに
便利であるとともに、装飾効果もある。
