Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.管状空洞(4)にそって内視鏡(2)を移動させる方法において、 (a)折り返しチューブ(20)を使用し、内視鏡(2)が空洞(4)にそって 移動される間に前記折り返しチューブ(20)の外側部分(26)が空洞内側面 に対して静止し、内側部分(24)が内視鏡(2)の一部の長さを受け、 (b)空洞(4)の中に配置された内視鏡(2)の前部の運動速度が折り返しチ ューブ(20)の内側部分(24)の前部の運動速度の実質的に半分となるよう に、内視鏡および折り返しチューブの内側部分の前部が少なくとも一定時間前方 に移動させられる事を特徴とする方法。 2.内視鏡(2)の前部および折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)の 前部に対して前進駆動力を加え、同時に折り返しチューブ(20)の後端から突 出する内視鏡(2)の後部に対して後向き運動を決定する力を加える事によって 前記の速度比が得られる事を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記の速度比を生じるための数運動段階が時間間隔をおいて順次に生じる事 を特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の方法。 4.一定時間間隔中に、内視鏡(2)の前部が、静止した折り返しチューブ(2 0)の内側部分(24)の前部に対して移動される事を特徴とする請求項1乃至 3のいずれかに記載の方法。 5.折り返しチューブ(20)の外側部分(26)と内側部分(24)との間の スペースが流体によって加圧される事を特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに 記載の方法。 6.潤滑剤が内視鏡(2)と折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)との 間のスペースの中に導入される事を特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載 の方法。 7.管状空洞(4)にそって内視鏡(2)を移動させる装置において、 (a)装置の使用に際して空洞壁体に対して静止した外側区域(26)と、内視 鏡(2)の一部の長さを受ける内側部分(24)とを有する折り返しチューブ( 20)と、 (b)空洞(4)の中に配置された内視鏡(2)の前部および折り返しチューブ (20)の内側部分(24)の前部を前方に駆動する駆動手段(18)と、(c )前記の駆動手段(18)の作動中に、内視鏡(2)の前部の前進速度が折り返 しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)の前部の速度の実質的に半分となるよう に、前記内視鏡(2)の前部の前進速度を特定するため内視鏡(2)に作用する 運動特定手段(72)とを含む事を特徴とする装置。 8.折り返しチューブ(20)の一部と、その中に配置された内視鏡(2)の一 部とが、内視鏡(2)の前部が空洞(4)にそって前方に移動する際に消費され る余分長として非直線状態に配置され、内視鏡(2)の後部が折り返しチューブ (20)の前記余分長の後方に突出し、また前記運動特定手段(72)が内視鏡 (2)の後部に作用する事を特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。 9.内視鏡(2)の前部と折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)の前部 とが、前記駆動手段(18)と前記運動特定手段(72)とを同時的に作動しま た同相的に作動しない事によって、相対的に段階的に前方駆動される事を特徴と する請求項7または8のいずれかに記載の装置。 10.前記駆動手段(18)は、折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24) の長手方部分と摩擦係合するための加圧手段(46)を有する事を特徴とする請 求項7乃至9のいずれかに記載の装置。 11.前記加圧手段は、スリーブ(42)の中に配置され前記折り返しチューブ (20)の内側部分(24)の前記長手方部分を包囲する加圧管状部材(46) を有し、また前記スリーブ(42)と前記加圧管状部材(46)との間の閉鎖ス ペースは流体をもって加圧されるように成された事を特徴とする請求項10に記 載の装置。 12.駆動手段(18)は、折り返しチューブ(20)の長手方加圧部分に作用 するモータ(56)を有する事を特徴とする請求項10または11のいずれかに 記載の装置。 13.前記運動特定手段(72)は内視鏡(2)に作用する一対のモータ駆動ホ イール(36)を有する事を特徴とする請求項7乃至12のいずれかに記載の装 置。 14.折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)の静止前部に対して内視鏡 (2)の前部を移動させるための他の駆動手段(72)を有する事を特徴とする 請求項7乃至13のいずれかに記載の装置。 15.折り返しチューブ(20)の外側部分(26)と内側部分(24)との間 のスペースに対して圧下流体を供給するための加圧流体供給手段(28)を有す る事を特徴とする請求項7乃至14のいずれかに記載の装置。 16.内視鏡(2)と折り返しチューブ(20)の内側部分(24)との間のス ペースの中に潤滑剤を圧入するための潤滑剤圧入手段(82)を含む事を特徴と する請求項7乃至15のいずれかに記載の装置。 17.折り返しチューブ(20)は、内視鏡(2)の遠位端(6)と反対側の駆 動手段(18)の側において追加的に折り返される事を特徴とする請求項7乃至 16のいずれかに記載の装置。
