Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a plurality of good images from the same static image, by using a one component type high resistance magnetic developer having a specific volume resistivity.
CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive drum 1 having a photoconductive layer formed on conductive drum 1' is charged with corona charger 2, imagewise exposed by optical system 3 and an original to form a static latent image. This is developed with a one component type magnetic toner in magnetic brush developing station 5, the toner image is transferred onto recording paper 8 from recording paper cassette 7 with transfer roller 9, the transferred image is fixed with fixing station 10, and then, drum 1 is cleaned with cleaning station 12. When this process is repeated using the same static latent image, the resistivity of the one component type magnetic toner is regulated to above 1011ohm.cm, preferably 1013ohm.cm, permitting charge movement through the toner to be prevented, thus, the desired purpose to be attained.
