Abstract

CONSTITUTION:In respect to the color picture tube equipment in which the center beam emitted from electron gun 14 and a pair of side beams are converged by convergence magnetic pole 16 arranged in the end side of emission of electron gun 14 and the beams are deflected to the holizontal and vertical directions by arrangeing composite control elements 12 and deflecting unit 17 in the direction of beam running, composite control elements 12 are set in the electron beam passing region between deflecting unit 17 and magnetic pole 16 where the back magnetic field of deflecting unit 17 is provided. Composite control elements 12 are constituted by combination of first control element 19 and second control element 20; element 19 is arranged in the position where the deflection sensitivity of center beam 21G is decreased less than that of side beams 21B and 21R in respect to the holizontal deflection magnetic field and element 20 is arranged in the position where the deflection sensitivity of side beams 21B and 21R in the vertical deflection magnetic field formed by combination with element 19 is decreased less than that of center beam 21G.
