Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the torque ripple, by supplying a current control circuit with a speed differentiation signal at the inverse polarity to a current instruction signal when the thyristor motor is at a specific speed for resonance frequency.
CONSTITUTION: The synchronous motor 5 is equipped with a position detector 6 and speed generator 7, which control a power rectifier 2 and a power inverter 4. Except at the specific speed for resonance frequency, a differentiation circuit 16 does not perform differentiation but serves as a speed control circuit having the current control circuit in a minor loop. At the specific speed, a specific speed detection circuit 14 generates an output, thereby turning on an analogue gate 15. At that time, the differentiation circuit 16 differentiates a speed signal. The current control circuit 11 is supplied with the speed differentiation signal at the inverse polarity to the current instruction signal. As a result, the current is controlled to suppress the change in the speed. Therefore, the speed variation is reduced.
