Abstract

PURPOSE: To make moving distance control mechanism compact and simple, by controlling the moving distance of a roller member to be worked in the direction of the axis by means of a dog and a limit switch.
CONSTITUTION: When a slide 52 is made to move forward, a dog D5 actuates a limit switch LS5 by advancing to a position where the limit switch LS5 can be operated. A solenoid valve is changed and the piston rod 76 of a hydraulic cylinder is pushed out so that a roller 65 advances to the axis of a work 200 by the movement of a rack 71. The lacing of the roller 65 is determined by the flow rate of a throttle valve and the set time of a timer. The work 200 is spinned by the roller 65. The process, where the roller 65 advances a prescribed distance to the axis of the work 200 every one reciprocation of the slide 52, is repeated arbitrarily at need so as to spin the work 200. The end portion of the spinned work 200 is trimmed by means of a trimming machine.
