Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable miniaturization of imprinting device by unifying the carrying direction of cards and receipt forms and providing an imprinter capable of rotating a card receiver at an angle of 90° to the carrying passage thereof.
CONSTITUTION: On the card-carrying passage inside card insertion slot 1 are provided carrier belts 5, 6 and 7, while at the end of the route is provided card receiver 11. Card receiver 11 carries cards to printing position 12 located in the lower part of imprint roller 13. Imprinter 14 comprises imprint roller 13 and the card receiver and imprint roller 13 is provided with a roller-supporting arm so that it can move for imprinting in the horizontal direction of receipt form 15. Receipt form 15 is carried in such a manner that the printing position 12 is in the same direction as that of carrying cards. The position to which card receiver 11 moves in a rotating manner at an angle of 90° is set so that the embossing mark of card corresponds to the printing position of imprint roller 13 of imprinter 14.
