Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform efficient cooling, by starting an injection pump through an indicator attached to the body of a compressor when the temperature or pressure in the body has reached a prescribed level and by causing cooling water to circulate from a supplemented water tank to cooling tubes in the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: A condenser 2 is connected to the high-pressure side of the body 1 of the compressor through a pipe. The coolant is stored in a liquid receiver 3. The liquefied coolant is passed through an expansion valve 5 so that the coolant is vaporized. At that time, an evaporator 4 is cooled due to the latent heat. Air is conducted through the fins of the evaporator to cool an automobile room. Water produced in the evaporator 4 is stored in the supplemented water tank 7. When the temperature or pressure in the body 1 of the compressor has reached the prescribed level, the injection pump 9 is started through the detection of the reach by the indicator to cause the cooling water in the tank 7 to circulate to a cooler in the body 1 of the compressor to effectively hold the heating of the cooler down.
