Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the combustibility of liquid fuels by dissolving a sufficient amount of oxygen therein, by the method in which oxygen gas or an oxygen-containing gas is injected into the liquid fuel to which is applied a magnetic field.
CONSTITUTION: When blowing oxygen gas or air into a liquid fuel, e.g., gasoline, kerosine, light oil, heavy oil, etc., to which is applied a magnetic field, the amount of dissolved oxygen in the liquid fuel is increased and its combustibility is made higher than the untreated ones. In addition, the liquid fuels containing increased dissolved oxygen are more stable and the highly stabilized condition can be lasted for a long period of time. As an example of the treatment methods, during the delivery of a liquid fuel from the untreated fuel tank 1 to the treated fuel tank 2, the magnetical action device 4 consisting of a permanent magnet and the injection valve 5 are provided on the suction side of the pump 3 and the oxygen bomb 6 is connected to the injection valve 5. Then, oxygen is injected into the injection valve 5, whereupon oxygen molecules are sufficiently dissolved into the liquid fuel by means of both the magnetic action and the pressurizing action of the pump.
