Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the re-entry of filter cake by disposing a liquid-purifying filter and the 1st check valve which makes possible the flow in its forward direction in series and parallel disposing the 2nd check valve which makes possible the flow in the reverse direction.
CONSTITUTION: In the liquid piping which requires back flowing such as the fuel feed lines of internal combustion engines, a filter 6 and the 1st check valve 11 are disposed in series between the outlet pipings 7 and 7' of a raw material tank 4, and the 2nd check valve 12 for back flowing is disposed between parallel branch pipes 13 and 13'. During filtration work, the raw material fluid is passed through the piping 7' and the 1st check valve 11 from the raw material tank 4 and is purified by the filter 6, after which it is sent into a select valve 5 through the piping 7. If the select valve 5 is changed over while not in operation, the raw material fluid returns into the raw material tank 4 through the pipings 7, 13 and the 2nd check valve 12 and therefore there is no need for back-flowing the filter. Hence, there is no likelihood for the re-entry of the filter cake into the raw material.
