Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the magnetic field of the horizontal component which is harmful in the vertical magnetizing recording and increase the magnetic field of the vertical component by abutting the electric conductor material against the side surface near to the recording medium of the magnetic member membrane of high magnetic permeability. CONSTITUTION:To both side surfaces of the magnetic member menbrane 31 of high magnetic permeability, the electric conducting material 32 such as Cu is attached and the auxiliary magnetic pole 33 on which the coil 34 is wound so as to confront the end portion of the main magnetic pole 31 is provided. The recording medium is directed at its magnetic surface to the magnetic pole 31 and travels between the magnetic poles 31 and 33. When the electric current flows through the coil 34, the magnetic field is generated and the generated magnetic flux is converged at the end portion of the magnetic pole 31 and a part thereof enters the member 32. When the alternating current magnetic flux enters the member 32, the eddy current is generated in the inside and the magnetic flux currint shown by dotted lined arrow is generated so as to reduce the entering magnetic flux. Thereofre, the entering of the magnetic flux into the member 32 is reduced and the concentration of the magnetic pole 31 is promoted and the high density recording becomes possible.
