Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit configuration of an automatic voltage regulator by selectively using one automatic voltage regulator for a plurality of feeder lines to thereby eliminate constant voltage power supplies for respective loads.
CONSTITUTION: When feeder lines Aa are used, a switch 22 is closed to operate a solenoid relay 24 to thus connect or disconnect resistors 26, 30 by the contacts 24a, 24b of the relay 24. Thus, the rectified voltage of a rectifier 27 becomes higher than the rectified voltages of other rectifiers 29, 32, and is applied to an automatic voltage regulator 8 instead of the voltage of the rectifier 32 to thus automatically regulate the voltage of the feeder lines Aa. In order to use the feeder lines Ab instead of the feeder lines Aa, a switch 23 is closed.
