Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize beautiful and clear display, by constructing the electrode of one substrate with an electrode film consisting of more than two layers through insulating film of SiO2 or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The segments of each digit are filmed on an upper glass 9 as a first upper electrode pattern, and an electrode lead part 12 of this first upper electrode pattern is covered with a metal mask of quartz or the like, and an insulating film 14 of SiO2 or the like is filmed to a display part 13 by means of CVD or the like. Then, the remaining part of the upper electrode pattern, i.e., a second upper electrode pattern 15 is filmed thereon.
