Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate inducement of precoat inlet pipe to water hammer, vibration, and noise by connecting a water-flooding system led from condensed water supply system to precoat piping system in thermoelectric or atomic power plant.
CONSTITUTION: The untreated condensed water introduced from the water condensation system 1 is filtered and desalinated through the filtering tower 2. The water condensation and flooding systems 1 and 14 are provided with the precoat tank 5 and the precoat pump 7. The system 14 following the system 1 is provided with the water-flooding main valve 15 and also tipped with the two branched systems 14a and 14b. The system 14a is connected to the precoat inlet tube 6 and also the system 14b is connected to the precoat tube 11. The piping 20 connecting the tube 6 with the tube 11 is provided with the holding pump 21 and the stop valve 22. Thus, it is possible to prevent the inducement of the tube 6 to water hammer, vibration, and noise.
